G2G3 Website Redesign
How I worked to redesign the company’s website to increase client awareness and engagement.
Role: Senior Designer at G2G3.

The Situation
The team trusted me to create a new website aligned with the company’s redesigned identity to support the sales efforts.
In 2018, G2G3’s “Simulation” training for big companies going through IT transformations was performing with an NPS score of +55, which is considered excellent. However, after three redesign attempts in two years and content created by an external agency, the website was creating almost no awareness and engagement for the company. As a Senior Designer for G2G3 in charge of brand and product design, the team trusted me to create a new website aligned with the company’s redesigned identity to support the sales efforts.

The Task
Our web needed to look contemporary and dynamic and communicate the benefits of the G2G3 solution.
- I worked with the G2G3’s leadership to research our competitors, our message and a platform accessible for the whole team to contribute. As a result, we identified that our web needed to look contemporary and dynamic and communicate the benefits of the G2G3 solution.
- I tested different web building platforms and created a report of my findings
- I created a timeline for design and development
- I used a story-based framework to rethink the communication of our solution.

Actions
Facilitating a team effort:
- I worked with a consultant and a content creator to develop the written content.
- gave feedback and tailored the text for web performance using visuals to reinforce the message.
- I Created a prototype for desktop and mobile and a shared library to collaborate with web developers.
- I reviewed the build, gave feedback to developers and did any necessary updates after the handover.

Results and Learnings
“Now, I can use the website to walk clients through our solutions.”
- A winning story: The sales team reported the new design helped them walk prospective clients through our solution, which reduced sales efforts.
- The focus on empowering calls to action lead to an increase in engagement. We went to all our free sessions booked via our new dedicated page instead of sales managers booking over the phone or email.
- G2G3's consultants updated the website content (for example, when new sessions became available or when adding or removing logos) by accessing our WordPress platform and template without needing a designer or developer.
